Across The Peak is a site for people with a thirst for adventure. People questing for knowledge People who want to face down anything life throws at them. Hopefully, that description sounds like you. If it does, Across the Peak is the blog and podcast for you. We might be specialists in our day jobs, but we're generalists in life. We have interests in everything and always have something to learn.

If you do, too, Across The Peak is here for you. We are interested in anything and everything, and want to share the knowledge we've gained along the way. We want to help make you healthier, stronger, happier, smarter, and more competent...and dangerous.

Until we meet, be safe. And you if you can't be safe...be dangerous!

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
